 Hello, here is a video of how I work in my altered book. 

It is the preparation of a page, this page will be re-worked after and I'll post the final result here and on facebook.

I use internet images, but it is only for my personal use. This sketchbook will not be exposed or proposed for selling... This is just my play time, and I have a great admiration for the artists who make these images- paints, drawings etc.... I want their work to have a place in mine.

The music is one of my favourite, the "Rondo Capricioso" of Camille Saint-Saëns, interpreted by the so great Itzhak Perlman. I listen to it since I am 9 years old.

It is the very very first time I make a video, and I'm not very comfortable in English as you will hear.....!!!!

un printemps pourri......

 Et oui, force est de constater que nous sommes presque au 15 mai et que les températures maximales ne décollent pas des 14°c.....? et le soleil joue à cache-cache, quand au vent, on est largement servis! alors mes pages sont colorées, colorées.....jaune, rouge, mauve....exit les couleurs ternes! voici les trois dernières pages réalisées.

The three last pages have I done. They are very coloured, as the weather is so grey and cold and windy.... I am desperately waiting for the sun!!!!!!

My notebook is so thick that I’m starting to have a hard time working in it! Anyway, it doesn’t close anymore and I have done only 30 pages!!!!!

Quelques pages de mon journal, au feeling.....

J'imprime, je coupe, je colle, je redessine par dessus, je recolore certaines parties, j'ajoute des petits mots inspirants, des timbres, et un peu d'écriture pour garder un souvenir du moment.....Il y a des pochettes, des petits livrets insérés, quelques poèmes. J'adore faire ça, c'est un moment de grande détente. Rien n'est calculé, je prends les choses comme elles viennent, c'est magique!!!!

Some pages of my altered sketchbook....

I print, I cut, I glue, I redraw on top, I recolor certain parts, I add little inspiring words, stamps, and a little writing to keep a memory of the moment..... There are covers, small booklets inserted, some poems. I love doing this, it’s a moment of great relaxation. Nothing is calculated, I take things as they come, it’s magical!!!!
